I'm calling on a function from within this form, and there are values set
but every time it gets called I get slammed with a run time error...
document.frmKitAmount.txtTotalKitValue is null or not an object... the
function is like so:
function calc_total()
{
var x,i,base,margin,total,newmargin,newtotal;
base = document.frmKitAmount.txtTotalKitValue.value;
margin = document.frmKitAmount.margin.value/100;

Hi
Is there any good ideas how to update form vb code always after some values
are changed / added by vb (not user).
I have some code behind subforms vb and there are calculations behind
"Form_Current" section those I need to re-calculate after some values are
changed or added.
The problem is that if list box value is calculated in vb, access wont

Hi,
(Access 97)
On my Menu form I have a button (cmdRefreshLinks) that
refreshes/changes the linked tables in my database, and a calculated
control (txtDataSource) that uses a custom function to display the
location of the back-end database. (This is all done using Dev
Ashish's 'Relink Tables' code from
http://www.mvps.org/access/tables/tbl0009.htm.)

Can somebody tell me what would be the syntax for having an if statement and
setting the selected index of a radiobuttonlist?
This is my first project using ASP.net and I use C#.
I have a repeater with like a table layout and in the last column I want to
have three radio buttons (for each row in repeater). The value of the radio
button should be calculated from a value from the dataset.
How can I do that? When I try to use a variable...

I had a beautiful script that was running, well, just beautifully. But
then I decided to take a button that fired an event and place it inside
a <asp:table. The event WILL NOT FIRE INSIDE THE TABLE!?! When I move
the button outside the table, it works just fine. Inside the table, it
doesn't. What gives?

VAR1 = 3/4
VAR2 = 2
I user can submit the values "3/4" or "2" (VAR1, VAR2 represent any numbers)
when user submits "3/4" we assume 1sthalf/2ndhalf
These values are saved into database as a row
row1: 3/4
row2: 2
I have a datagrid that displays values just fine, but user wants to beable
to click on the 3 or 4 when we have a "/" in the value.

It was asked by someone else what the autopostback was set to...it is set to
false.
Can someone show me what I am doing wrong and tell me the correct way? Thank
you.
In the page load event, I am doing the following:

Hi,
I have a panel that I load user Control in no problem. The problem
arrises when I do a post back on one of these user controls. I have

database updates, then I will use reflection to call a method in the
parent (this.page) to load the new user control. Its at this point
after it loads the new user control that it throws the error "The
control must be placed inside...

I am changing an existing quiz found on "JavaScriptKit.com Multiple Choice Quiz"
I have an image. Instead of using the radio buttons with the normal true/false question, I want to place two hotspots on the image. One being correct(a) and the other incorrect(b). When the user clicks on the correct hotspot or place on the image, it should score and retain that value until the end of the quiz. At the end of the quiz, there is a submit button...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
