I investigated samples of MTOM implementations. They all use the byte array as a result of the client or server method. Does MTOM also work for byte arras that are used as in/out parameters? I thought by using MTOM the attachment is left as binary ? so why then does the wsdl generated by ASMX still refer to base64Binary ? Thanks

Is it possible to encrypt the byte ? is it something I need to specify before I send it out ? or do I need to somehow configure MTOM to do it ? Also could comeone clarify.
