Capturing the image of a application frame and contents within !

1 New Member
Hi,

Im trying to develop and application that would will require the process ID as an input and then grab the image of the window save it as bmp.

I have tried number of approaches like using win32.dll functions for example getMainWindow( ), enumWindows( ), enumchildWindow s( ).

1) The thing I that I am facing problem is that can I get the handle of onlz the frame of the window. While using enumChildWindow s( ) I get handles of all the controls as well how is it possible to distinguish that the handles belongs to the frame.

2) Using enumWindows does not gives me all of the windows displayed on desktop kinda strange. I filtered them out using the process ID

IDEA: Just like when you press Alt+PrtScr you get the image of active window. all I want is that I get all of the image of all the opened instances of that perticular process. example: VLC player/MSN Messenger if I select open from file menu now I should get the previous main window as well as then newly opened form.

Please help out, any idea to solve the problem would be realy appreciated.

Thanks.

I use the onmousemove event to keep the ghost image under the mouse pointer. There are three problems: (1) if the ghost image is dragged so it is partially off the...

Etc. etc. If today's date is not near a holiday, then the default LOGO.JPG is displayed. A while back, I was looking for a JavaScript that does...

Does anyone know how to recognise the image capture signal from a medical scope such as a video colonoscope? I've got video streaming from the scope to the computer but want my app to recognise when the scopes image capture button is pressed, rather than have to capture the image by pressing a button in my app. Thanks in advance

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
