Is it possible to set up hotkeys using onkeypress? I know it can be
done with the usual alphanumeric keys, but what about function keys?
or using ctrl/alt combinations? Does anybody have a tutorial/guide?

I've got a function, you can see it below, that is being called
onmouseup in the textarea on my main form. The idea is to find a
selection if possible and store that text in a global variable. I can't
get this to work in any browser on a Mac, though it works alright on a
PC. What am I missing?

How do you prevent someone from using Ctrl+, (ctl + comma) or Ctl + . (Ctl +
perios) to get to design view. I have all the normal properites turned off
(Access special keys, F!!, etc) but nothing seems to stop that one. I tired
using AutoKeys to remap it, but I keep getting "Invalid Syntax" or "Invalid
keystroke combination". Most of these new hotkeys are really for developers
and we should be able to stop end users from using them. I...

I have a program that uses Hotkeys! And they works just fine!
I use this hotkeylib:

Hi.
Can assign global hotkeys, but I desire to have middle mouse button a
global event, which instantiates a menu. However, Firefox, and a few
other programs use the same button as well. I would like to be able to
check if the current visible form (not my program) is using this
key/button and if so, the event is not hooked by myprogram. Any pointers?

I have a C# WinForm application (.net 2.0).
I use the '&' character for Hotkey access on various buttons.
With the <Display Properties / Effects / Hide Keyboard Navigation Indicators> unchecked, the Hotkeys display just fine.
