Hello,
I think it would be so useful to be able to expand or collapse the
"#endregion" in the same way it is possible with "-" and "+" in front of
"#region".
It will be easy to shorten a region as we reach its "#endregion" directive.
I miss the "-" in front of "#endregion".

Hi All,
I just wonder if in C#, I can develop a user defined control that can call
its parent function which is not yet developed. For example, how do I make
my user control call a to-be-developed-function cmdOkay_Click() function as
described below.
1. Create an user control that contains an OK button as below
Public Class MyButton:System.Windows.Form.UserControl

I have a DataSet that bound to controls on multiple forms. Currently
an instance is created on each form and Load / Write is handled on
each form.
Instead I would like to have a single instance DataSet that is
accessed and maintained by Data Access Object (DAO) and I would like
that DataSet to be re-used on each form.
The problem I have is that when I drag a DataSet component onto a
form, I am having trouble linking it to the DataSet...

All,
I have written a very simple custom composite control that includes a
control of type System.Web.UI.WebControls.Table.
The control renders fine in run time, but for some reason, it does not
render properly in design time.
In design time it renders something like this:

Hi folks,
I have some problems with ASP.NET Session State. The
following simple program runs well if the Session State
set as "InProc". If I switch to "SQLServer", the changes,
made by the second thread, are lost. Any idea?
I use VS.NET 2003 on Windows Server 2003 with hot fixes
(as of 30-Oct-2003) and SQL Server 2000 SP 3a.

We recently upgraded to Exchange2K3/W2K3 from Exchange2K/W2K, and some of my
c# code that I used to access users' contacts using WebDAV has stopped
working. I'm getting a 401 unauthorized error. Hopefully, I can explain this
adequately.
Prior to the upgrade the following code was working properly.
FYI: The site was running in the context of the domain administrator, and
was also using the Administrator account to create a CredentialCache...

I am new to C# and have been studying this piece of code. It loops through an Adjacency Matrix table to populate a tree view.
1. initTreeView(TreeNode N) creates a new “temp” table to hold the children for each node. Each time the table is created it has the same name “temp”. Why doesn’t the table just get over written each time?
2. In the foreach (DataRow r3 in temp.Rows) loop, if the temp table is empty like when Menu11 is reached the...

Why does this code work?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
