Hello,
I think it would be so useful to be able to expand or collapse the
"#endregion" in the same way it is possible with "-" and "+" in front of
"#region".
It will be easy to shorten a region as we reach its "#endregion" directive.
I miss the "-" in front of "#endregion".

I have two books saying different things about the #region directive. One
says that all code within #region does not affect the compilation process
in any way, while the other states that the entire region is marked for a
pre-processor directive which does affect the compilation process.
I was wondering which is accurate? Is...

Where do I put my Snippets ?
How do I generate a #region #endregion expresion/statement?
I would say : "in the Compilation unit", "in the namespace", cause they
can't go inside a class / member.
Help please.
PS: CodeDom is amazing!

I was thinking about what IDE feature I would want the most in the next
version of VC++?
I would definately ask for the C# feature: #region / #endregion.
In my opinion this feature was a brilliant idea.
This thing really helps to abstract out code, and gives you a view of your
code you can not otherwise see.
C++ needs this feature even...

Thanks for making such an awesome programming environment, it's truly
amazing.
I really like C#, but C++ .net is so powerful, (The Interop capabilities are
mind boggling.)
Here are the things that I personally like the most: (The improvements in

Hi
in C#, it is possible to define a region which can be tucked away in
the IDE by defining a #region and #endregion pair in the code. I realize
this does not seem to work for C++/CLI, be it native or managed code. Is
there soemthing equivalent in C++/CLI or it's totally not supported yet?

It seems I cannot use #region and #endregion to hide those auto generated
windows form control declarations. They are available in VC# 2003 though. Is
it true that VC 2003 doesn't support #region and #endregion?

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
