  15.                 newrm += 1;

  17.             while (newrm != nrmcntr);

At the line:
if (newrm == rooms.Length() -1)
I am trying to compare an integer to the last index of an array of room objects.

I get the error:
Method name expected
at that line but have no clue.

Thank you in advance for any explanations.

if (newrm == rooms.Length() -1)
should be rooms.Length - 1

Good day folks. Within an ASP I'm working on I need to check whether an array is empty or not. Code: Dim somearray() 'other code: array might have been populated, maybe not if somearray() <> "" Then 'this is the line that hangs debugging using VID 'code if array is populated

Hi Everyone, Does .NET offer any collection class which will give me objects last *accessed* such that I may build a least-recently-used cache that kills off objects that haven't been used for awhile? Or is there any other way to implement this kind of a cache / collection where one can do this kind of cleanup based on least-recently-used objects?

I want to scroll through the alphabet in order to scroll some data to the closest name that starts with a letter. If the user hits the H button then it should scroll to the letter closest to H. If no one exists with H, then go to I, etc. If its near the end, say 'V', and the last person is a 'T' then it should work its way back up the alphabet. I was trying to loop as if the Char's were ints but I am having problems I have buttons...

There must be an easy way to do this: For classes that contain very simple data tables, I like to do something like this: class Things(Object): def __init__(self, x, y, z): #assert that x, y, and z have the same length But I can't figure out a _simple_ way to check the arguments have the

Ok, I have this dynamically created table in my one of my php forms that shows the names of the people the user has entered into a text field. When they hit add a row displays, showing the name they entered. Also, an image that allows them to delete shows beside the name upon creation. The delete removes the name from the table and pushes the other names to the top. Simple stuff, however, if I delete the last name displayed(the bottom of...

Hi! I have the code pulling from a txt file with a counter to name each file. The problem is that if images "36", "29" and "2" are removed... I need those slots to replaced in numerical...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
