Hi folks,
The python can only support passing value in function call (right?), I'm
wondering how to effectively pass a large parameter, such as a large list or
dictionary?
It could achieved by pointer in C++, is there such way in Python?
Thansk in advance.

Anyone understand how to pass parameters to a JavaScript. If anyone finds
this easy to do maybe they could take a look at my short script on this page
and show me how it needs to be changed.

Last year, I remember finding a web page describing how to pass the
name of a file to another web page, and have that web page load that
image file.
Now, I can't find my record of that (it was saved on another computer
that I can't get to right now), and I can't remember what search
parameters I used to find it when I googled the topic.
Can anyone point me the right direction? I'd like to use a method that
would be accessible to the...

Hi,
I've defined an ObjectDataSource and a parameterized DataSet. I would like
it if I could pass the parameter value that describes the query that creates
the DataSet as part of a user control declaration. Here's how the parameter
is described in the context of my ObjectDataSource:
<asp:ObjectDataSource ID="ObjectDataSource1" runat="server"
SelectMethod="GetArticlesByWhomever"
TypeName="WhateverTableAdapters.WhateverTableAdapter">

Hallo,
I have a little question:
In the function session_set_save_handler I can pass the name of function
which deal with session.
In Xoops code I see the use of this function like that:
session_set_save_handler(array(&$sess_handler, 'open'),
array(&$sess_handler, 'close'), array(&$sess_handler, 'read'),
array(&$sess_handler, 'write'), array(&$sess_handler, 'destroy'),
array(&$sess_handler, 'gc'));

Hi, I need some expert GDI+ person to help me with my RoundOffImage
Function:
What I'm trying to do is take in an image, crop off the edges around an
ellipse region I set up, and then return the cropped image from the
function. I sort of have this working, but not thoroughly.
If I take the output image of this function and draw it on my form it shows
the clipped image as transparent as I am wanting it. But if I take that
image and...

Hi,
I have a repeater based on a stored procedure. It pulls the following:
catDesc Image
The user sees the category description (catDesc) , and then clicks on
the image (Image) which is bound to the catID. This catID (@catID ---
an integer) is then to be passed to the next page, sculpture2.aspx for
use in a datagrid with a stored procedure.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
