Hi,
Just out of curiosity, Can I use TAPI (Telephone API) in PHP. Create an
answering machine that can answer calls and respond, also detect DTMF
tones using TAPI? I havent heard of such a thing being possible. TAPI
3.0 is COM based can PHP access it?

Thank you in advance. I'm trying to take Access 97 through 2003 that I have and
allow it to use TAPI functions to capture caller ID on a Caller ID enabled
modem, so I can keep a record of all incoming calls, when my secretary clears
my caller ID on my phone system.
Any links or code would be greatly appreciated. I figure three tables:
1st Table, Date only
2nd Table, Date, AreaCode, Phone Number, Time, Contact Name
3rd Table, AreaCode

as I can simulate one called to my number of telephone? ,I would want to
use (and develop) an answer program that uses tapi the 3,0 (I have xp home)
but I cannot spend the cost of the telephone,
actually:
callmynumber from mobile -> program answer -> test and debug ->
....callmynumber->...
can you suggest me a solution?,i have another pc, is possible to use
modemOfPc2 to call modemOfPc1 emulating one called telephone?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
