I'm trying to create a asp.net webform with a datagrid which has been filled with data from a database. The datagrid is filled allright but I would like to add a checkbox at every row which the use can click to select one or many of the rows in the datagrid once a button is clicked. The problem is that the code behind does not recognise if the checkbox has been check or not. Does anyone knows how to do this? /erik

Hi group. I am a newbie to ASP.NET as you will see from some of the questions I may ask! I have a datagrid which I have populated from a database. It works great! I have added a column, via the Columns dialog box from the properties of the datagrid, on the left that contains a select button. So now, when you press the button the whole row is highlighted. Now, what I want to do is have the user highlight as many rows as they wish...

Hello, I have 5 checkboxes in one record in the datagrid. When the user checks 5th checkbox (or, in my case, clicks the button - doesn't matter to me), all other checkboxes are checked as well. I've done it in SelectedIndexChanged event. My code is below. However, it takes too long to work on the server side. I'm sure it is possible to do the same in Javascript. Unfortunatley, I don't know it that

What is the best way to accomplish that. I have made a template in the gridview and added a checkbox. Then I made a command button and changed is CommandName to Delete but after that I don't really know what to do...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
