Hello, I am looking for a cross-browser way (Firefox 1+, IE 5.5+) to
have my Javascript function execute from the BODY's "onload" method,
but if there is already an onload method defined, I would like mine to
run immediately after it. So in the code below, what JS would i need
to add to my "myfile.inc" page so that I could guarantee this behavior?
<!-- main page -->
<html>

<script type="text/javascript">

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used
to add rows to a datagrid. I am thinking that I would
want an "Add" button on the footer, but I am not quite
sure how to do that. Is that the best method? Do you
have a sample of how to do this?

Hi all,
I am having a problem adding a reference in an ASP.Net project.
I have written a custom control using a Web Control Library project. I
compiled this project and generated a dll.
Now when I try to add a reference to this dll in an ASP.Net application,
Visual Studio displays a message -
In order to add this reference, the directory "C:\MyControl\bin\Debug\" will
be added to the project's ReferencePath property. This will change...

The two obvious methods for ref'ing assemblies are:
Add a reference and 'Browse' for the actual DLL
OR
Add existing project to the solution, then add a ref to 'Project'.
1: I'd like to find out what the latter method is doing.
I'm assuming that it makes sure that debug exe gets matched to

Hi all,
Using C#, I've created a simple wrapper class for using Excel. I have
Office Pro 2003 installed on my devel machine. The wrapper class works
great, reading and writing to/from Excel. To do this, I created a
reference to "Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library", and have a "using
Excel;" directive.
I decided to add a method for creating a TextBox using the
Shapes.AddTextBox method, which requires a

Hello,
I had quite the same problem and got further in the right direction
with your suggestions, thanks.
Nevertheless, I have a newer problem which seems to come from the fact
that the
assembly which contains my "SimpleComponentToolboxItem" must be
already referenced

Hi
As a VB6 user I'm unfamiliar with the Treeview control of VB2005. I read it
was changed but I have a hard time finding the right help/samples for my
problem.
In VB6 you had 1 collection, and adding a node was quite simple. Just
specify the nodes key and position relative to the key where you want to add
your new node.
In VB2005 you can't do that anymore. I looking for a sample or help how this

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
