When i right click on the .rpt file in the VS 2003, i see a property printer setting. It says "No printer" on the top and there is option to select printer and paper settings etc.. I want to know how will this affect a report rendered by a crystal viewer. I have a web page with a crystal viewer rendering the report on the page. I build my application in one of my development machines and deploy it

I have just posted a variation of this question on the Crystal Reports board, but most times I do not get a reponse. I have a report in which I asked about yesterday and after working all day on this, I actually have it looking pretty good. It is displaying header information and listing the data that I want it to in various sub reports. The problem that I am having is that the sum of the rows in the subreports, it is printing one...

I am having difficulting duplicating a function from Crystal 8.5 and Crystal XI (works in both versions) in the .Net Crystal environment. The functionality forces a new page after the Group Footer is printed the last time. In Crystal 8.5 and Crystal XI the following code works just fine: WhilePrintingRecords; Numbervar x = 1

Most suggestions on this topic recommend to use a page footer and make it visible only on the last page. My problem is that the footer is half of the height of a page which means the detail would show on only the top half of each page with whitepace at the bottom of each page. How can I get the detail to fill each page with my "half page height" report footer at the bottom of the last page? Any suggestions to solve this would be...

Hello, I have 7 different crystal reports that need to be collated. Since I want to end up with a page of each (which all together make a single report), I created a blank main report and then added the 7 as subreports so they can print one after the other. I'm supposed to be printing them from a VB.Net 2003 application and I will be passing 2 parameters (start and end dates). These reports are huge (over 1000+ pages each). My original...

I've searched and searched, I could really use some suggestions. I have a Crystal Report in report designer that contains a Report Header, a Page Header, and a Detail section. The first page should print three records from the Detail section and then be followed by signature box (plain text, contains no data). If there are more than 3 records in detail, then the next pages should continue showing records but not the signature box. This...

Dear reader, In case a report is a sub report the Report Header of the sub report is printed in the report but the Page Header of the sub report will not be printed. This is the same for Page Footer of the sub report. Is there a possibility to force printing Page Header and Page Footer of a sub report.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
