For IE, I can retrieve an array of tags using:
document.all.tags("tagname")
For NS6 & 7 I can use:
document.getElementsByTagName("tagname")
Is there an equivalent for that ancient NS Communicator 4?

Hi,
I used following codes to pass a message item from CDO to Outlook. They
worked fine when I used outlook 2000, but get an error of "Specified cast is
not valid." when I used Outlook 2003. Anybody has an ideal?
Dim outlookMsg AsMicrosoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.MailItem
Dim adoMsg As MAPI.Message
outlookMsg =
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.Application.Session.GetItemFromID(cdoMsg.ID)

I have seen web sites (mostly sharepoint portals) that integrate with MS
Office Communicator. Our company uses Communicator and I'd like to
integrate some of the communicator features with our department's portal,
but it's 1.1 of the DNF. The portal web site says there are download
examples but they're 2.0. Does anyone have any code, samples, or links to
using Communicator with the 1.1 ver of the DNF?

Hello.
I created simple asp.net application to search message history over
Office Live Communicator conversations.
I complete quite all job but stick with one thing - I have autosuggest
box (using async callback request aka XmlHttp in other browsers)
implemented on my custom tab ( read: on my asp.net page, which added to
communicator tabs) - it's very usefull during search for communicator
users. I added javascript event handlers on...

Greetings!
I wrote a small Exe that simply runs Shell to load PowerPoint and launch a
particular file, depending on the day of the week. However, it was set up for
office 2003 (I naively hardcoded the path) and I also used Shell. Does
anybody have a snipped showing a more efficient method for launching a
Powerpoint file, regardless of which version of Office is running?
My current, ineffecient code:

Get the Name and Phone Number of the Current Windows User in a .NET
Application
I am writing a simple .NET (C#) application. It needs to "automatic"
get the Name (last, first) and phone number of the current Windows
user.
I guess the name can be retrieved from the environment -- After I
click the Start button of Windows, my name is on the very first line
of the popup menu. So, this information is provided by the Windows

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
