I know that this has been beaten to death but I can't seem to resolve
my issues (I have 2 of them). I have created a class that exposes a
public method which returns a datatable as a datasource for a Crystal
Report. The method has a single argument which represents a parameter
required by the Stored Procedure.
When I generate the report in Crystal and run it using the class I
built, it works fine. I've tried it with parameters and...

I've been going in circles on this for a week. Please help:
I'm running a web app with ASP.NET 1.1 and Crystal Reports for .NET.
The app has three reports, two of which are reliable both on my
development machine and on my client's production server. The third
report is reliable on my development machine, but not on the
production server. I can think of nothing different about this third
report that would cause it to be so fragile. ...

Hello,
I need help. I have experience in ASP.NET programming, but this is my first
dealing with Crystal Reports. I'm trying to make the most basic report
purely for testing purposes: connect to the remote SQL DB and create a
report on one of the tables. Every time I do it, I get the Logon Failed
error (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException: Logon failed)
The internet search shows that this is a common problem,...

I have tried various suggestions that I have found searching the
newsgroups and still haven't been able to figure why I keep getting the
logon failed error.
I created a report in Crystal (not via VS 2003). The data source to
the report is a stored procedure (SQL S2K) that has no parameters. I'm
also using SQL Server authentication to log in.
I added the report to my project (as was suggested recently by someone
in a different...

We are trying to deploy an application that uses crystal.net(version 9.1) as
a reporting tool.
We created the Websetup.exe file using the MergeModule and ran the same in
the production server(having the environment VS2003 framework,IIS6.0, Windows
Server 2003).
While running the same we are getting the following error:
Please suggest us steps to deploy in the production server.
Thanks and regards

Hi there. I'm a bit of a newbie, and I would appreciate any help that
anyone can give me on an error I'm getting with Crystal Reports.
Every time I attempt to view a report using the Crystal Report Viewer,
I get a "Load Report Failed" error, and I'm not sure what I can do to
resolve it.
I know it's not the connection to the data -- I'm able to get a
datagrid to display the data just fine after filling a dataset. I
tried searching the...

I have an app, that when it calls ReportDocument.Load(filename), it throws an Exception that just says "Load report failed." Upon further investigation, the ErrorCode is -2147483136, the InnerException's Source is "Analysis Server", it's message is "Failed to open report." (little redundant??) and under the TargetSite, the Module is {CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc.dll}. Google searches and the error lookup utility packaged with VS...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
