ASP.NET, Crystal Reports & EnableEventVali dation

I have a web app using ASP.NET, ASP.NET AJAX and Crystal Reports for
Visual Studio.

When I try to export the report, I selec the file type and pages, but
then get the following error -

Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled
using in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventVali dation="true" %in
a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to
postback or callback events originate from the server control that
originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the
ClientScriptMan ager.RegisterFo rEventValidatio n method in order to
register the postback or callback data for validation.

I understand why I get the error. Does anyone know (a) what the CR
events are I need to register; or, (b) how I can DYNAMICALLY turn
event validation off (turning it off in the page directive is not an
option).

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I am obtaining a DataSet from an XML web service. It contains a number of ten pin bowling scores from 4 different players. I want to provide a means of graphing the performance of the round and comparing each player against the rest. I've looked into Crystal Reports, but I'm not well up on how they work. Can anyone suggest a way of analysing these scores? Doug.

People, I am using Visual Studio 2003 v7.1, with framework 1.1 SP1. I also use crystal reports 8.5 to write a lot of my clients reports, and recently upgraded my crystal 8.5 to 9. this however in hindsight was not the best move. i realised afterwards some software i write requires me to be on crystal 8.5, (this cannot change, at least for the next little while). so here is my problem; i need to go back to crystal 8.5. but it turns out...

Hi! We have a VB application using Crystal Reports 6 that has worked successfully on hundreds of systems for over 10 years. Now, on one network, the application and access database does not close. It seems to hang on the command. When we open the application an peruse the screens without opening up a report (using crystal reports), the application and access db closes fine. But as soon as we run a report and then close the report and...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
