Hi,
client wants for a window with no toolbars to open (technical and
'esthetical' reasons) after the window, user clicks on, is being
closed.
I told them about security settings in browsers and no cross-browsers
solutions and all of that we know, but they have told me they have
seen that before and how then the annoying pop-up windows work? . . .

regarding opening and closing DB connections but I am still not sure

Is it true that it doesn't matter how many times I open and destroy a
DB connection on 1 single page?

Everything I have read suggests that if I open files or database connections
or the like, that I should explicitly close those said resources before
making the object subject to GC. This is obviously good programming
technique.
However what happens if this practice is not followed. e.g.
that I have a base object that creates an instance of a filestream and for
arguements sake an instance of a oledb connection.

Up until a few weeks ago, javascript code like
window.open("http://mydomain.com", "windowName");
would always bring my new or reused window to the top, with focus.
Lately, Firefox (Deer park alpha 2) only brings it to the top if the
window is new. If it's being reused, the window does not come to
the foreground (with IE 6 it does).
Is there a new way in Mozilla/Firefox that I can ensure that this

I am using VB.NET 2003, SQL 2000, and SqlDataReader.
As I read data from tblA, I want to populate tblB. I use SQLDataReader for
both tables. I do not use thread.
When I ExecuteReader on tblB, I get the error "There is already an open
DataReader associated with this Connection which must be closed first."
How can I fix this error ?
For each DataReader, do I want to open and close the connection (in this
case adoCon) to avoid this error ?...

How can I open another WebForm in ASP.Net / VS 2005 without closing the
Current Webform.
I tried using Server.Transfer("Form2.Aspx",True) on Button_Click of Form1
but it close the current web form and opened the form2, and when I click on
the button on form2 which had Server.Transfer("Form1.Aspx"), the form1
initialized and all the values of form1 controls set to blank, any idea
