Creating Multi-directory Sites Using Multiple Projects In A Solution

I have a Visual Studio Solution that contains multiple ASP.NET Projects. I
do not want to put all of the pages (*.aspx files) in the root directory of
my site, because that would be very disorganized. However, I am having
trouble getting any projects other than the one that I place in the root
directory to work. What extra steps do I need to take to place a project in
a directory other than the root? I am using a webhosting service
(hostway.com), so if there are any changes that need to be made on the
server I need to know exactly what they are so that I can either request
them for my site or make them by logging into my account. If anyone can help
me with this or knows of a website that gives good instructions on doing
this, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi,

If you own the server, just create a new folder or "site" using IIS
admin tools, set up any server extensions (such as Frontpage), set the
App boundary in IIS and choose the Authentication scheme.

If you don't own the server, you would need to use an Admin interface to
create new "Virtual Directories". Ask the host how to get to the Admin
interface.

You'd then need to publish your app from it's development sub-folder to
the target vDir on the web server.

I want to have some games in an application I'm considering. I see game creation stuff on the web... anything best suited for Java... or written with Java? Of course, we could do 'em from scratch but certainly someone has already created a tool or whatever to make it faster and easier. Oh, and we need to be able to use the games we create without restrictions

I am creating a system whereby equipment is inspected. Data is inputted into an inspection form. I need to create a public multi-dim array that can hold a mixture of string and int values. I will need to search this array for a value and return a value from a subscript. This array will expand as it reads in records, so I will need to preserve the current contents. For example, I currently do this in Visual Foxpro. Public laList(1,5)

I have 2 tables, one with dates and information about those dates, and one with people information. I want to create a report listing each date and the people who attended on that date (who have that date under the date column in their table). Can I do it and how? Hi all, I'm doing some research online on creating php-based multi-level marketing (MLM) system. It seems like a complicated system to build as I need to create one from scratch. I'd like to know if there are open-source CMS tools or MLM tools available that helps me to customize or even upgrade to the kind of system I'd like to have. I'd like to know how should I start building one from scratch- just the logics or algorithms that I...

Hi, I'm building a multi-lingual CMS. The user can add as many languages as he likes. The user will be able to create sections for different content (General, News Releases, etc...) in the db table tblSection. For each section, the user will have to input the section name for each language he is supporting in tblSectionLang. So, if the user has a section called News, and he is supporting English and French, two records will have to be...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
