Has anyone solved the issue of translating lists in Word 2003 (WordML)
into xHTML? I have been trying to get the nested table code for my XSLT
to work for a while now, with no way to get the collection that I need.
To begin, I am using xsltproc that conmes with Cygwin as my processor.
I have no particular affinity to this processor except that it is open
source and standards compliant. I don't like M$, but if using a M$
processing...

My company just upgraded from Access 97 to Access 2003 today and we are
having some issues in a database that generates a Word document from
information selected in a form.
Here is the code we were using without issue previous to the switch:
'Start Word and create a new doc from the template
Set objWord = CreateObject("Word.Basic")
objWord.AppMaximize "Microsoft Word", 1
objWord.FileNew Template:=StrTemplPath & "letter.dot"

Hey guys,
I currently have a 100 page word document filled with various
"articles". These articles are delimited by the Style of the text
(IE. Heading 1 for the various titles) These articles will then be
converted into HTML and saved. I want to write a parser through
vb.net that uses the word object model and was wondering how this
could be achieved? The problem i am running into is that i can not
test whether the selected text is...

I want to open a word document from an Access form and transfer data
from the Access form to the Word Document.
For instance, if a user clicks an option box on my access form, I want
to pass certain data to the next new line of a opened word doc.
Here is what I tried, but doesnt seem to work:
Dim objWord As Object
Dim NewRow As Row

If I do not have the indicated Word document open (on my Win XP Pro
machine with PHP 5.2), the following will open and display it:
<?php
$path = "c:\\path\\to\\word\\document\\mydoc.doc";
$doc = new COM($path);
$doc->Application->visible = true;
?>
However, there will be several identical warnings (14 in number)

I use ASP to display links to Word documents on an intranet. Is there a way
in ASP to do text searches on the documents' contents? I want the results to
have the link to the Word document plus two or three lines from the document
that include the search terms.

I have Access 2003, and am trying to build a database for my small
company. I want to be able to create a word document based on the data
entered through a form. the real question is this: can Access create
the document and place it as an OLE object to the relevant table?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
Basically I want the data in an open form to merge with a word
template and create a new document.
So a user navigates to a particular records and presses a button
"Produce Document" and access merges the current data with a template
and up pops a "save as" box allowing the user to save their new
document where ever.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
