Hi All,
i have problem to scroll the page the the specific section of the page after
click a command button.
I have tried using <a name="f"> and use response.redirect("xxxx.aspx?#f").
Although it works but i dont wan to reload the page.
I also used hyperlink to goto the "f" section. It works good without fire an
event (which cause reload page) but, the problem, i wan to click on a command
button and not the hyperlink.

Is there any way I can have a page reload itself where it will completely
reload from scratch. I have a condition where a person click a button and
the easiest way to handle it would be to have the button do the DB stuff it
needs to do and then load the page from scratch - not post back.
I've tried putting in a server.transfer in the routine that does the button
click but it seems to get into an infinite loop.
TIA - Jeff.

Hello,
I created a user control that has a ListBox and a RadioButtonList (and other
stuff). The idea is that I put the user control on the ASPX page multiple
times and each user control will load with different data (locations,
departments, etc.).

Okay...I have another 'newbie' question;
I have a function that loads a page and the action is
$_SERVER;
In the form that is in a function(method?) within a class a variable
is passed back to a mysqli connection and database and updates the
database.
The problem is that when the page is reloaded it does not show the
updated information in the database with the $_SERVER. Why
is the page loaded with the same information? Is it cached...

I have a page with multiple iframes and need to have the user (ie6) be able to click a button to refresh any one of the iframes - but also to click another button at the top of the page to refresh all of them - from the server (this could be on page refresh also) as the purpose is to reset the iframe to the original content in case the user clicked on a link in that iframe and changed it, but also in case there were updates to the original page...

I have a site which I secure with forms authentication. When the user's
sign on and hit one of the secure pages, I have this line in my code to
ensure that the browser does not cache the page; and someone cannot navigate
back to an cached image of the page in theory after the user has signed off.
Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache);
This works all right, except when the user decides to use the browser's back...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
