Session problem firefox

2 New Member
Hi

I am facing specific problem with firefox browser. I have integrated payment gateway in my website. it is working fine in internet explorer. But I am facing problem with firefox and opera browser. I have some values in session like client id, client name. when I redirect from payment gateway to own site(e.g. thankyou page) I want to access all session variable. It works fine in IE but in other browser session value destroy. it works in local system problem is with online only.

Problem occures when I return back from payment gateway to my own web page. e.g.-

step 1. payment page(my website page)
step 2. paypal (payment gateway)
after successfull payment on payment gateway when we click "return to merchant" button..
step 3. thankyou page (my website page)
I want to use session variable "I created in payment page(my website page)"

I can use these session variable in IE but in case of firefox or opera I cannot get these variables.

Thanks
Bhushan

I've got a 4-page form that lets users enter a whole lot of information, which is then submitted and emailed at the end. All the fields are stored as session data. The whole thing works fine: 1. On my local box (WinXP / Apache2 / PHP4) using IE6 2. On my local box using Firefox1 3. On my hosted server (RHLinux / Apache1.3 / PHP4) using IE6

I have an issue that I've been encountering in an ASP application I'm working on. Most of the application is written in ASP, but there is one page written in ASP.NET. The ASP.NET page needs to have access to the ASP Session data to run correctly. In order to achieve this I create my own HTTP request for a certain ASP page with the name of Session variable that I want is stored in the query string of the request. The requested ASP page...

Some ASP.NET applications use Session Variables extensively to maintain state. These should be re-written to use viewstate, hidden fields, querystring, etc. instead. This is because if a user opens a new IE window with Ctrl-N or File-New-Window, BOTH WINDOWS SHARE THE SAME SESSION VARIABLES. This cannot be prevented.

I'm pretty sure this is an unusual case and I suspect it has as much to do with what the browser is doing as it does PHP on the server, but the behavior defies anything I would have expected. What happened: I have a script that depends on sessions to pass some data between pages. If register_globals is on, the session fails for reasons I've explained here: ...

Hi, I have a website running in IIS7 and it seems to be creating a new session for every request I make. The values I store in Session are lost with every request. This is the forms bit in my web.config: <authentication mode="Forms"> <forms name=".ReMaCRM" loginUrl="~/Login.aspx" defaultUrl="~/Default.aspx" cookieless="AutoDetect" domain="" timeout="10" protection="All" /> </authentication>

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
