I copied the following code snippet from A97 HELP. Am
getting an error at compile time suggesting there's a problem
with the first line (compile error, user-defined type not defined).
It is likely that I've left something out. Doesn't seem to like Dim
dbs as Database - that's what's hi-lited after acknowledging the
error. Can you see anything wrong with that syntax?

Hi, I have a user who somehow managed to turn off the min max close
icons in her menu bar (across Access as a whole, not just the
application that I built). She has it in her other MS products, so it
must be an Access setting.
Can anybody tell me how to get them back. I have seen a lot of
postings that use application code to manipulate the buttons, but it
didnt' get turned off with code, so I don't see how I can fix it with
code.

I have a .NET 1.1 component trying to connect to a database but I keep
getting the following message when the exception is thrown:
@"Login failed for user '\'."
It appears that no user and role are being passed to the connection object,
otherwise it would surely give the name of the user who was being denied.
Has anyone come up against this before? A search told me to set both SQL

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
