Hi,
Anyone has the background for explaining?
I have made a search on my name and I have got a link to another
search engine.
The link's title was the search phrase for the other search engine (a
wicked phrase). Some but not all of the words of that phrase exist in
my website.
I reported it and they removed the link but did not give explanations.

Here's how CSS can warn you about links to sites matching a "blacklist"
you define. This might be useful in weeding out bogus search results,
etc.
It uses substring attribute matching (which is CSS3); works in Firefox
but not IE. (Tested FF 1.0.2 and IE6.)
Example:
1. Edit userContent.css. (ChromEdit is convenient for this.)

Hello guys,
I've been building a search facility for an intranet site I'm part of
developing and we've been building a search engine using Index Server.
It mostly works, however there have been a few niggling problems and
fixing it seems to be a case of patching errors as we find them so I'm
thinking that it might be worth starting the logic from scratch and
rebuilding this again.
Basically we have a simple search, which is simply a...

hi, all
I have an iframe in my page. Actually what I want is just like the google
search.
When user clicks search, I will load the a page from another URL into iframe
and then highlight the key words in the iframe.
Does anyone know how to do this? By JS or VBScript?
Thanks

I have created an ASP.NET page that allows the user to page through a result
set. I need to expand on this. On that same page I a filed where the user can
type in a search string. When they click a button ALL the results will be
returned and the closest match to the search string will be highlighted. The
approach I am taking to page the data is to put the keys/indexes into an
array then create another data reader based on those results to...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
