I have setup a soap machine on linux and similar configuration works
properly. on a windows mahcine, I get these erros on the addressbook,

I am pretty sure my classpaths are setup correctly.
using jboss-tomcat engine.
This looks like text formatting issues.

This little bugger of a problem took us most of the day to track down
but I'm glad it happened as I would like to know why the WSDL generated
code that operates inside of a try..catch block throws an exception to
the screen when it craps out instead of being caught by the try..catch
block.
Basically, from inside of VS 2003 I added the reference to the web
service using a shared .dll to pass a class reference between the
client/server. ...

I used
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconalteringsoapmessageusingsoapextensions.asp
as a template to create a very simple web method with soap extension.
The code like this:
public string HelloWorld()
{
return "Hello World.";

Summary:
I have been trying to make requests of a web service provided by Axis using
a dotnet client with code generated by wsdl.exe and have
been getting exceptions when trying to process the response.
As a result of seraching news groups I guessed that the SOAP response
defines an array element in a way that causes the dotnet deserialization
routines to put the content in a generic object array (object) BUT the
content is supposed to...

Hi,
I have written a Web Service for a customer which expects a SOAP message
with Document/Literal encoding, and uses
RoutingStyle=SoapServiceRoutingStyle.RequestElement to route the SOAP body
message to my Web Method. The Web Method expects a string as its parameter
and then feeds that string to an XML deserializer which maps the XML
elements contained within the string to my custom objects, then performs an
insert/update on an SQL...

Does .Net generate the classes for Faults when they are specified in the WSDL.
I tried defining them and then generating a proxy, and it did not appear to
do it.
On the Java side it did generate the class and the ability to serialize that
class when putting it on the wire.
I was hoping a .Net client would create the appropriate exception class
defined in the WSDL and deserialize the message into the appropriate
exception class.

I am making a webservice call into to a PeopleSoft service and everything
works except raising exceptions.
As an example if I fail authentication I get the following response:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<soap:Envelope xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">

Hi,
I have written a web service for accessing data from a database. I have a
method in the webservice which returns a dataset. I am trying to implement
error handling by using the try...catch...finally structure.
Now, the method's logic in the try block returns a dataset while the the
code in the 'catch' block throws an exception object of the SoapException
class. Before, returning an exception to the calling code, I build up an...

I have a PHP SOAP XML file size problem that I was wondering if anyone has seen before. I have an XML file that when I put it through my PHP script with 270 lines (13,082 KB) it works fine. If I make it 271 lines (13,112 KB), it causes the script to end with a soap fault.
I've tried adding substance to the 270 lines to make the file bigger with out adding lines, but it didn't fail.
I've installed everything on a second development box...

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
