How to change the Background color of a Crystal Report

Hi,

Iam working in a windows application using .Net framework 2.0,
VS.NET 2005 and CR X.
Scenario : When we create a report using CR by default they will be
assigned some background colors.
On a drak gray color, with white background the report will be
displayed.
-----------------------------
| ---------------------- |
| | -------------- | |
| | | | | |
| | -------------- | |
| ----------------------- |
----------------------------
My report is typically like the above picture.
First there is a dark gray color rectangle, inside this gray rectangle

Iam getting a rectangle with white background. On this white
background the report will be displayed.
I was able to modify the background color for third inner rectangle.
:-(
But that is surrounded with a white rectangle which in turn is
surrounded with a dark gray color. So my form is looking awkwad.
How can I chnage the dark gray color background and white color
backgound in the report.
Could you pls help me.
Thanks and Regards,
Bharathi Kumar.

I'm developing an application in VS.Net 2003 using C#, which uses Crystal Reports. When creating each report, crystal asks where the database to use is, so I specify our SQL server using the ADO option. The problem is that these database settings seem to get compiled into the report, so when we take the application to our client it won't work on their systems. Before running each report I run some code which is ment to reset the...

I am writing a Windows forms VB.Net/MS SQL application via VS 2003 that utilizes Crystal Reports. I want to be able to dynamically set the report data source at run time. I'm trying to change the the reports "integrated security" from TRUE to FALSE via the "Set Location" dialog in the report designer with no success. It is not intuitive (at least not to me.) I get the following error:

I have a Crystal Reports.Net report being generated from my C# application. I would like to change the background color of the details section (not the text mind you) of the report on certain conditions. For example if the value of the 'Meeting Number' is greater than 100 the background color of the details section will be light yellow, otherwise it will be white. There will be multiple records in this reports so one (or a few) detail...

Hi guys, I’m having an interesting problem with Crystal Reports. Thankfully, it’s simple to explain! I’ve got a report, and have added a picture to it. I configured the picture to use a bitmap. When the report is viewed using the crystal report viewer, the image appears fine. However, when I send the report to a printer, the image comes out with a grey background. I’ve had a good look through all the relevant report and report...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
