This is fairly obvious:

XmlDocument newDocument = new XmlDocument();
XmlDocument documentToCopy = new XmlDocument();
documentToCopy. Load(fromWherev erItComesFrom);
XmlNode imported = newDocument.Imp ortNode(documen tToCopy.Documen tElement);
newDocument.App endChild(import ed);

One way using the DOM/XmlDocument:

XmlDocument xmlDocument1 = new XmlDocument();
xmlDocument1.Lo ad("file1.xml") ;

XmlDocument xmlDocument2 = new XmlDocument();
xmlDocument2.Lo ad("file2.xml") ;

xmlDocument1.Do cumentElement.A ppendChild(xmlD ocument1.Import Node(xmlDocumen t2.DocumentElem ent,
true));

xmlDocument1.Sa ve("file3.xml") ;
// of course you can also overwrite the existing document with e.g.
// xmlDocument1.Sa ve("file1.xml") ;
Should also be possible using XmlReader and XmlWriter but needs more code.

I'm a beginner with Javascript and especially cross-browser Javascript. I got this working in IE, but not in Netscape 7. It seems like, in Netscape, every time I click on a button, the focus shifts to that button, so there is no text to be selected. What should I do? Below you'll see some code that I have in one of my forms. I was hoping to have these buttons and when I click on them they would take selected text from a textarea box and...

Hello, I really, really, need some help here - I've spent hours trying to find a solution. In a nutshell, I'm trying to have a user input a value in form's textfield. The value should then be assigned to a variable and output using document.write. (Note, there is no submit button or other form elements. Basically

What would be the best way to parse this XML document? I want to avoid using XMLDocument. I don't know if I should use XMLTextReader, or Xpath classes. There is only one element <MessageStore> element in the document, "always" at the end of the document. There will be thousands of <Messages> elements, "always" before <MessageStore> element. 1st Step

Hi there - I'm hoping someone can help me; I've been struggling with this for a few days! :-) I have a webpage that is comprised of many forms containing questions. As the user answers one of the questions, that form is hidden and the next is displayed. Also, as the user answers each question a "count" variable is updated based on their response. I would like the question to show up on the left side and the answer to show up in the...

I am using document.write in an external javascript file to display some content, but I've found that I can't rely on that content being displayed in the location I expect. Here's a very simple example: ===================================================== <!-- test1.htm --> <html> <body>

Hi world! we are pretty new to JavaScript and have been struggling for now 2 days on this problem ... We would appreciate mercy if anyone can give us some. Basically we are trying to simulate the tab key when the down arrow key is pressed. (we know there are other way to control focus flow but we use a lot of dynamic jsp fields, that will make the flow control a nightmare, we just want basic tabbing from the arrow key)

Lately I have seen so much awful HTML, that I like to show what a HTML document should look like, regarding the requirements from the W3C. the absolute minimum is defined as: or expressed in code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>My first HTML document</TITLE>

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
