I have a "file upload form" that works OK, but I have been unsuccessful
in my attempt to also resize the uploaded .JPG (if it is too wide),
over-writing the original .JPG, and then create and save a thumbnail.jpg
.... all at the same time. Links to a working example would be
appreciated. Thanks.

I have jpeg images that are 2848 x 4256 pixels. I want to programatically
convert them to images that are approximately 427 x 638 (that maintains the
ratio) and save to new jpeg files.
How can .net accomplish the image resizing?

Hello,
I use an ASP.NET script on my website to upload images (complete script
is listed at the end of this message).
Now, I want to limit the size (in width and height, but also in bytes).
For example, if the image is max. 400 pixel in height or max. 400 pixel
width or max. 100 Kb. The image is not uploaded. How can I do this?
Additionally, I also want to resize the images to a valid size when

Hi all, I want to be able to resize an image that a user has uploaded.
I have the image upload working as well as the image resize. When I go to
delete the original uploaded file (I want to replace the uploaded file with
the new resized version) I get a
"file being used by another process" error. I therefore cannot replace the
uploaded image with the new thumbnail.
How can I get around this???

Howdy,
I have a function that uploads an image and that works great. I love ..Nets built in upload, so much easier than 3rd party uploaders!
Now I am making a public function that will take the path of the uploaded image, and resize it with the provided dimensions. My function is below. The current function is returning an error when run from the upload function: A generic error occurred in GDI+. Not sure what exactly that means. From what...

Hi!
This discussion may help other programmers get a better idea of how to save
uploaded images through a website.
Why? Well currently, I save 3 versions of every uploaded image on my own
little website:
1. Small: DOWNsize of original image to be used as a thumbnail.
2. Medium: DOWNsize of original image to be used as user avatars/icons in
forums or profiles.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
