Hello,
Whenever I use methods from my class libraries I don't get any Intellisense support of the source documentation I supplied.
When I use the same code directly instead (i.e. adding the class directly to my project and not using the assembly dll of my class library) then I get Intellisense information of the methods as expected.
Using third party assemblies instead provides me with the intellisense support.

Is there a way to insert a newline into a documentation comment? The
intention is to have the tooltip that appears with Intellisense show the
line breaks so that the description is easier to read.
For example, I have a method where one of the parameters is a bool. The
diference between true and false is significant to the results. I would
like the tool tip to read as follows for that parameter:
IsBoolParam: true = blah blah blah...

I've been looking at the XML documentation for C# code. I've put in a
number of <summary>, <remarks>, <param> tags and used the /doc switch to
create an XML file.
What now?
I was expecting to have a style sheet or some other mechanism to present the
documentation. I was also expecting to have the summary and params show up
in IntelliSense.

This is a slightly edited re-post with a (hopefully) more descriptive subject
and a bit more detail.
I'm new to C# and to newsgroups, so please bear with a possibly foolish
query. I'll try to be sensible.
The results of /// <summary> ... </summary> etc. appear immediately in the
Object Browser and in Intellisense popups, as advertised. But when I try to
get the same result with <include file='filename' path='tagpath'
/>, no joy.

Does anyone know of any classes that will load the XML documentation
into some useful classes?
I'm assuming there must be some somewhere as that's what the Object
browser does to show summaries and comments, and Intellisense must do
something similar.
But I can't find anything specific in the help files.
I could roll my own but would prefer to save an hour or two if it's

I am creating a custom control and so I have a c# solution, and added a c#
web control library project. I don't get any squigglies until after I build,
then when I fix, they don't go away until after I build. The editor also
doesn't reformat the code to keep things lined up, even though that option
is set.
Whats wrong?

look at examples for code i see things like this.

and then this is the same stuff that i will see in the documentation. if

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
