Classes to load & parser XML documentation.

Does anyone know of any classes that will load the XML documentation
into some useful classes?

I'm assuming there must be some somewhere as that's what the Object
browser does to show summaries and comments, and Intellisense must do
something similar.

But I can't find anything specific in the help files.

I could roll my own but would prefer to save an hour or two if it's
already been done.

Also the format of the XML documentation looks pretty simple - but does
anyone know of an XSD for it so I can be sure I've not missed anything?

I don't believe there are any public classes that parse the XML
documentation into anything useful. If anything, I would check the VS.NET
program directory, and see if there are any classes in the install which
might help.

As for the schema, I don't know if there is one. When the compiler
exports the documentation, is there a namespace associated with it (which
might give clues about where the schema is)?

Hope this helps.

Hi, I am using the following code (see below) from php.net (http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.xml.php, example 1) to parse an XML file (encoded in UTF-8). I changed the code slightly so that the cdata sections will be echoed an not the element names as in the original example. In the cdata sections of my XML file I have terms like this:

I have been trying with no result, to force Xerces parsers to ignore whitespace in my XML file. I have tried several of the NG suggested setFeature() methods in DOMParser to no avail. I have now started to use the newest version of Xerces and as a result I stopped using DOMParser. The following fragment of my code shows how I create the parser and parse my XML file, which still has <null> #text fields for whitespace. How can I force...

Hi I wonder if regular expressions are in general sower than using classes like String and Char when used for validating/parsing text data? I've done some simple test (using IsMatch()) method and the result was that Regex is either as fast or two times slower than method which used methods from classes

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
