information to the next page. The form works just fine in
ie6.0, but fails in mozilla and fails in ie5.2 on a
mac. "HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request" was the original error msg
now that I reinstalled iislockdown and urscan I get "The
parameter is incorrect." If I use the get method with this

Hi,
I have seen reference to this problem several times in various newsgroups.
The problem is in opening an ASP.NET web application created using Visual
Studio 2002 (.NET 1.0) in Visual Studio 2003 (.NET 1.1). I am at my wits end
with this problem!!!
I have run the aspnet_regiis -i command, and successfully (or so the command
says) upgraded all scrips for all the ASP.NET projects on my machine to 1.1.
When I check the...

Hi, I am emailing on this forum in emergency. I need a PERL programmer who can work for 1 -2 days on a ' Website Upgrading project' . Most of this upgrading include simple changes and one or two of them might require some time to complete. I guess if you are a proficient coder in PERL and Tomahawk, You can do it in few hours otherwise 1-3 days would be enough. I have decent budget for this project but I need it done in next week. If interested,...

Dear friends,
I recently decided to move vb.net 2005 from vb6. my projects has average of
200 forms and 20 modules. I mostly write enterprise solution about
production automation like applications.
In VB6 it takes 15 to 20 second to open a project and almost less than 2
second to see the form after I click to project explorer. Compiling to EXE
file takes rather long time, about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
But in VB.net, to open a project...

Hi
I am learning ASP.NET using C#. I am able to run .aspx files on local system, but when I load them to the server, I get the "Server Error in '/' Application" error. I have tried to configure the web.config file but has not been fruitful.
I would be thankful if the following questions were answered:
a)has the write permissions on files and folders have to do something with it?
b)what role does asp_client folder play?
c) What other...

Hi,
I am moving an existing ASP application from Win 2k3, IIS 6.0 to a new Win2k3 IIS 6.0 but the same pice of code that works on the old machine give a "blank" page on new machine. On debugging, I found out that none of the request values are being passed. The whole application works on request values and changing the code would not be possible.
any help would be highly appreciated since this is an urgent request.
Thanks
Neha

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
