2nd request...Urgen t help needed: problem upgrading ASP.NET application 1.0 to 1.1

Hi,

I have seen reference to this problem several times in various newsgroups.
The problem is in opening an ASP.NET web application created using Visual
Studio 2002 (.NET 1.0) in Visual Studio 2003 (.NET 1.1). I am at my wits end
with this problem!!!

I have run the aspnet_regiis -i command, and successfully (or so the command
says) upgraded all scrips for all the ASP.NET projects on my machine to 1.1.
When I check the Configuration/App Mappings they all reference the 1.1 ISAPI
dll as expected. However, one particular project will not load in VS 2003, I
continually get the 'detected that webserver is running 1.0 - please
upgrade' message, and the project will not load.

I would recreate the project from scratch, but it is complex, with
SourceSafe shares to other projects, etc. So I would rather not have to do
this.

Can anyone please tell me why IIS still thinks this project is 1.0?

Thanks, in anticipation.

Chris

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
