The following XML and Schema doesn't validate in Visual Studio .NET 2003.
Is there some mistake I'm making, or is VS.NET in error.
The error is
r:\test2.xml(3): The key sequence 'foo' in Keyref fails to refer to some key. An error occurred at , (3, 6).
Any help is appreciated. Here is the schema.
<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<xs:schema id="NewDataSet" targetNamespace="http://tempuri.org/test2.xsd" xmlns:mstns="http://tempuri.org/test2.xsd"

Trying to use a fixed layer for a couple of NAV buttons.
I found this code, but the IE part is commented, and I don't
understand the IF statement. It works great on Moz/Firebird and Opera
BUT not IE. Would someone please take a look at this and tell me if it
can made to work in IE? If it can, a hint on the syntax/code would be
much appreciated! PS, this would also get rid of my fixed background.
Thanks in advance
Jaz

I'm trying to get an image to float in a window despite scrolling.
I've gotten it to work on my Mac using IE 5.2, Netscape, and Safari, but it
goes wonky when I test it on a PC. (testing with IE only at the moment.)
Positioning is wrong, and it doesn't float at all.
Here's a test page: http://www.bdiusa.com/mirrors/test.html
I've tested the code using the CSS Validator on the W3 site - and it said
it's okay.

Hi!
Here's what it should look like:
<style type="text/css">
span.h1 {
border-style:solid;
border-width:0px;
border-color:#000000;
border-bottom-width:2px;

Hi All,
I can't find a solid answer for this. Maybe someone here will know.
I'm seeing a bug in Netscape 7.2 when I use a ID Selector to apply a
style to a text input field.
THIS WORKS:
<input type="text" name="test" style="width: 350px;">

Howdy All,
I am trying to standardize all the buttons on a site by using a style
sheet to specify their height, width, background all those things. But
I can seem to get the simplest of things to work. Below I have put a
simple page with an Input type of button. Can somebody tell me what I
am doing wrong?

Hi,
Im trying to learn CSS and putting a website in effect. Just getting
used to DIV's and SPAN's and using the proper formatting of H1 H2 H3 etc
to format HTML documents and using different stylesheets to control
formatting.
So far it's going pretty well, and Im just ripping up everything I knew
about tables and starting with DIV's. Though I seem to be having a hell
of a time working with padding and margins, then trying to realise...

Hello,
this might sound stupid, but I got a really nice homepage template
which unfortunately is a 3-Column Fixed Width CSS format. Now I don't
have any content for the right column and would like the middle column
just to use up that space instead.
Any way this is possible?
Thanks for your help, it is highly appreciated!

Hey
I'm wondering how the Fixed-Width Text Format is
What I know is that the top line in this text format will contain column
names. and each row beneath the top line represent for example a row in a
table etc...
But does fixed-with mean that every column has a fixed with: for example
first column is 10 char wide and second column is 30 char wide?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
