Hi,
I have an app that uses a typed dataset to persist user data. The dataset
has a multiple tables with multiple table relations. The problem I am
running into is that the user data is dynamic and is not predictable at
design time. What I mean by this is the forms that user inputs data is not
static - it changes dynamically at runtime based on user input. This makes
it difficult to persist the data in a dataset with multiple...

I am getting the following error when attempting to generate C# proxy
code with the wsdl.exe tool:
Error: Unable to import binding 'XtractSoapBinding' from namespace

- Unable to import operation 'GetLists'.

I get the same error when trying to add the web service as a web
reference to my C# project.

I'm sure this is possible but I just can't see how to do it. I want to add
schemas to my solution and have C# classes automatically generated from
them. I can see how to generate typed DataSet's with the MSDataSetGenerator
custom tool. Is there something similar for simple schemas?

Hi everyone,
I currently develop an application in vs.net 2005 with vb.net.
I was trying to use typed dataset and I've got in trouble for
converting untyped dataset
into Typed DataSet. I don't know why I cannot perform this casting
operation properly.
First off, I've got my Typed DataSet named "AuthInfo" declared and I
then created an instance of that class. What I'd like to do next is to
perform querying through the method...

Hi!
I have developed both a Web Service and a client application, and they work
fine.
All classes used in the Web Service interface are declared in an assembly
named Entities, that is referenced both in the Web Service and the client
application.
The problem is that the automatically-generated Web Service proxy class

Hello,
I am trying to port my .net 1.1 application to 2.0. I am using vs2005. I am
trying to get my webservices to run and although i can compile them and and
get wsdl and service descriptions through internet explorer when hitting the
..asmx url, i cannot generate a proxy class to use in my winforms assembly.
When i try to generate a proxy, i get no error message but nor do i get a
reference.vb so there is no type info. If i then try...

I have a web reference WSDL, but it doesn't really create an XSD. I'm
trying to generate datasets from the WSDL file but not sure how to do
so.
I successfully created the proxy class, but the WebServices all return/
send domain typed data, so I am seeing if I can turn these "classes"/
WSDL into Typed DataSets.
Anyone have ideas on where to start?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
