Hello,
I really hope that someone can help me resolve my problem, I've been
working on it for the past few days, to no avail.
I have an asp:label which gets its value from the database, but what
I'm trying to do is to get that value (from the asp:label) and place it
inside the javascript input value.
I can post sample code if required.

I would like to turn on a label control in javascript with the onfocus event
of another control by setting the Visible property to true. When I try and
reference this label control it says "Microsoft JScript runtime error:
'document.Form1.lblSigGrantor' is null or not an object". I wrote a loop and
iterated through the elements for the form and this control doesn't show up.
Code listed below, please help.
Thanks,
John Holmes

Is there another way to put labels on a page other than asp:label?
I have been building a page where I use a label to display the calculated
result of some imput. I do it using Javascript. But since the asp:label
equates to a <span> I have to create nodes to display the new text. The
problem is that as soon as I change pages (whether by post or just using a
back button), I lose whatever changes I made.
I don't have that problem with...

Hi,
Is there a way to update the text of an asp:label on a webform without
refreshing the entire page? What is called by button clicks and other
events that refresh a webform control?
See the example WebForm1.aspx and WebForm1.aspx.cs code below:

I have the a repeater which is databound to an XmlDatasource. Inside
the repeater is a Label as follows:
<asp:Label ID="lbl" runat="server" Text='<%#
XPath("Asset_Metadata/@Value")%>' />
This gives me a "The server tag is not well formed". It seems to be
because of the single quotes in the XPath statement.
I've tried changing the single quotes to ' which compiles fine,

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
