Hi All,
I cannot made visible the toolbox bitmap for my controls.
I did the following:
- Namespace : foo

as embedded resource: MyControl.bmp
- Then the control toolboxbitmap attribute is defined like this:

I have two UserControls I am using in a form. These are each also used
separately in two other forms. The structure is essentially this:
CourseUserControl.ascx - select or enter a course
SessionUserControl.ascx - select or enter a course session
CourseDetails.aspx - a form which contains just CourseUserControl
CourseSessionDetails.aspx - a form which contains just
SessionUserControl
TrainingRequestDetails.aspx - a form which includes...

Greetings!
I have a UserControl. On this UserControl is a Panel and a
RadioButtonList. The Panel's Visible property is set to false by
default. When the user selects a particular RadioButtonList value, a
postback is performed and the Panel's Visible property is set to true.
Selecting a different RadioButtonList value sets the Visible property
to false again.
So far, so good. It does, in fact, do this.

I get an error when running my Javascript inside my UserControl. It works
fine if I put the UserControl Data directly in my Web Page.
The stripped down code is:
<script language=javascript>
function CheckQuestion()
{
var checkBox = document.getElementById('SecurityStandard');
alert("checkBox.checked = " + checkBox.checked);

I have been through tons of old postings, several web sites, books, and even
tried consulting a psychic but nothing is yielding the majik answer. I'm
using VB '05 Express on a Win2K system.
The project has everything grouped under various directories. The Solution

I've created a component in VS.NET 2003 and I'm having a hard time getting my
bitmap to show up in the Designer Toolbox in Visual Studio. I have designed
an .ico file and have included the attribute as shown:
<ToolboxBitmap(GetType(SmoothProgressBar2), "SmoothProgressBar2.ico"), _
DefaultProperty("Value")_
Public Class SmoothProgressBar2
....
End Class

We have a custom word processing type editor built with C# and .NET 2.0 and
we need to support typing in languages other than English. I want to be
able to use the Windows IME to enter in text similar to how it works in a
text box.
For example, if I put focus on a TextBox and then switch my language on the
language bar to Japanese or Chinese, several buttons appear on the language
bar including Input Mode, Input Style, Conversion Mode,...

I saw one post here that basically said no way, but not sure which vs
version was being discussed. Using vs 2005 I develped a user control
in a vb project and would like to use that usercontrol in a web app,
also developed with vs2005.
I tried using @Reference and put the dll in the bin folder, and when
that failed I created a Contols folder and put it there and still no
luck. Intuitively it makes sense that this does not work, since vb...

I am attempting to create icons for controls I have created using VB.NET by
using the System.Drawing.ToolboxBitmap attribute. I have managed to do this
in C# by specifying the path to the *.ico file, but I have been unable to
get any of the overloads to work in VB.NET. I would like to store the *.ico
files in a *.resx file so that users do not need anything other than the
*.dll, but at the moment I am just trying to get any of the overloads...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
