Hello all
I have created a page which has several pictures on it. Each picture is
surrounded by a frame made from actual photos of real picture frames,
consisting of four corner tiles and four repeating side tiles.
I would like the on-screen display to use low-res versions (96 dpi) of the
images, to ensure fast loading. But I would like the printed version to

Hello,
I am pretty new to programming and would like someone to help me get
started on the program that I need to make.
I hope it is not hard to do, but what I would like is a simple app that
has a label which returns the color of a pixel that is in position x,y on
the screen (i.e. the desktop @ 1024 x 768 pixels), where x and y are of
course variable.

I understand that there are several ways to effectively control the
browser delivery of HTML to make the most effective use of the
different screen resolutions today. (And in the foreseeable future...)
I have a client with a text based site (displays a lot of labour law)
which is being read in a range of resolutions and he wants a rewrite
as a long term solution to browser resolution compatibility.

How do I get the color depth of the screen/display adapter with vb.net
2003?
Background: We're having transparency problems (long side story and
known Windows "bug") that requires our systems to have the Color Depth
or "Color Quality" (bits per pixel) of the display adapter (screen) to
be 16 bits (Called "Medium (16 bit)" in the Display Properties Control
Panel) in order for it to work.

I have a 30X16 cells table in my html page. Table height and width are
set to 100%. I have set size of every cell inside the table to 24
pixel.
When I open the html page in maximize state in either resolution 800 X
600 or 1152 X 864 it takes up the entire explorer size.
In screen resolution 800 X 600, if I insert a pictures of 24 X 24 pixel
in the cells it takes up the entire cell size (ideally it should as the
cell size is also 24 X...

Could anyone help me, I'm a python noob and need some help. im trying
to find some code that will, given a screen co-ordinate, will give me
the colour of that pixel in RGB. i have found a lot about getting the
pixel colour from a picture file with a given co-ordinate, but is it
possible to do it from the whole screen output regardless what
application the selected pixel is in?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
