Grid components

What .net grid components are people using, what do you recommend?

I quite like the look of
http://www.10tec.com/Products/dotNET...net/index.aspx, has anyone used
it?

If there is a better group to ask this in, please let me know, thanks!

Nick,

A grid can be for a webform or for a windowsform. Although that I use only
the standards grids, is that information at least needed to answer your
question.

I would ask your question if it was C# in the newsgroup (although it are
probably not the proper ones, it are the 3 most active ones)
microsoft.publi c.dotnet.langua ges.Csharp

if I was using VBNet
microsoft.publi c.dotnet.langua ges.VB

if I was using solely ASPNET withouth visual Studio Net
microsoft.publi c.framework.asp net

Be not affraid to use crossposting however never to the more of the
languages groups. Crossposting is sending one message to more newsgroups in
one time. (Not multiposting what is sending more times the same messages to
more newsgroups)

I hope this helps,

I want to use a plain grid control in VB.NET (Windows Forms) and yes I do not want to use Data Grid, because I want to populate the grid manully and have the user edit it. Does Microsoft has a Grid Control other than Datagrid for VB.NET (Just like Microsoft Flex Grid in VB 6.0)

Hey there, I have a large image in a browser window, and I would like a way to overlay grid lines on top of the image, so a user can show the grid or hide the grid lines. The grid would cover 100% of the image, and all I would need is a set of horizontal and vertical lines over the image to create a grid overlay Is there a way I can leverage some functionality in Javascript to do this? I can't use any server side 3rd party...

Hello For business apps, we need a good, solid, bound- and unbound grid widget. In VB Classic apps, we use ComponentOne's VSFlexGrid widget www.componentone.com I was wondering if there are equivalent widgets for PHP apps, or we should rather look at what's available in the ASP.Net world. If you have worked with both environments, what would you recommend

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
