Hi
I have written a code for showing the list boxes as selected using a
Listitem and the selected property of the items.
Now I have 2 list boxes in my page. But it shows only the selected values
of the last list box in both the list boxes.
If i reverse the calls to the filllistbox methods it shows the value
selected for the 1st list box in both the listboxes.
I have the code for my method below. Is there a way I can solve this
problem?

I'm using ASP.Net and 1 Listbox and 1 ComboBox.
When a user selects the contents in the listbox I want to populate the
combobox with the text that he selected or double clicked. I've tried
various things with the selecteditem, index properties to no avail.
Meaning: LISTBOX has CAR, DOG, BAT, HAT already populated in it.
When user selects DOG -> I would like to populate the ComboBox with DOG.
I'm writing everything in the vb file in...

Dear All,
I used ListBox(SelectionMode=Multiple) to develop my web application, but I
encountered some problems..
1. I can use ClearSelection method to unselect all the selected items but
how shoud I do if I want to select all the items of the ListBox.
2. Is there a better way to get all the selected item which user select,
because I think to scan all the item selected property is not very suitable.

Displaying selected items at the top of the listbox
Hi,
I am having two listboxes - one with ids and second with the related names.
When user selects an item in one listbox, the corresponding item will be
selected in the second listbox too. The problem is, when the user selects an
item and it is in the middle of the list, the user is not able to know
whether it is selected or not. Is there a way to display all the selected
items...

can't figure out where I'm going wrong. When I debug I keep getting the
two top items as selected even though there are not selected and the
selected items are ignored. I'm using ASP.NET 2.0 and using two server
listbox controls. Any help appreciated.

I have a ListBox on a form than has some items. The select mode is one
item only. I select one, it is selected and hightlighted. I then click
somewhere in the listbox not on any item, in the clear area of the
listbox. I would like to unselect the selected item but I cannot
determine which event to use to trap this event and unselect the
current seleted item.
Any help?

I have two listboxes on an asp.net web control (ascx). I want them to
act non-mutually-exclusive. In other words, if an item in one listbox
is selected, I want the other to be clear.
The problem I am solving is that I have a listbox with active job
postings and a second with inactive job postings for my employer. I
want to be able to just use one button to pull the selected job
posting. Currently, this is impossible since a posting from...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
