How to kill a page?

Ho to kill a page?

When calling my .NET 2.0 DLL from a page, I pass a reference to the page in
the NEW:
MyDLL = new MyClass(Page,Co ntext)

New Sets a global Variable that is then referenced in various procedures in
MyClass.
Along the processing, I figured out, that MyClass lost the reference to the
Page.
- How could this occur?
- There are (older) sections of MyClass where On Error resume next is
enabled. What statements should I look for?
- We run in a server Farm environment. If the process is restarted because
it reached the configured Memory maximum, is the Class "orderly terminated"
or will this cause the loss of the reference to the page?
- In the development environment, this error never occurs. It occurs only
under load.

I know just one statement, that would kill the reference: Page = nothing
What else could kill the reference?
Your help is very much appreciated

There is a setting in INIT.ORA that has the unintended side-effect of making sure the ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION command has immediate affect. Without this setting, I've seen some instances where the session reports as being KILLED in V$SESSION but is not physically removed until the instance is bounced. Does anyone remember this value offhand?

I need to be able to kill a process programmatically under ASP.NET. IIS runs under the local system account. The user accessing the web is using anonymous access. We would prefer NOT to grant elevated security to the proxy used for anonymous access. Is there a way to either establish a temporary security context, programmatically for the .NET Framework Process.Kill to operate under? Or perhaps a way to give the compiled binary produced...

Because C# has no native SSH class, I am using SharpSSH. Sometimes, for reasons I do not know, a Connect call will totally lock up the thread and never return. I am sure it has something to do with weirdness going on with the server I am talking to. Anyhow, this locked up state happens once in a while (maybe once per day) and I can't figure out how to deal with the locked up thread. If I issue a Thread.Abort() the exception never...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
