I have a very odd situation here. I have an administration page, where
based on a users permissions, a recordset is called from the SQL server
which has a list of paths to "Module Menus". Each of these menus are then
placed into the page by calling Server.Execute(rs_Modules("ModulePath")).
This works fine for up to 15 "menus" After that, the session variables that
were set (not including those called by Global.ASA) are no longer set.

Hi,
I have a web application which sometimes throws an “out of memory”
exception. To get an idea what happens I traced some values using performance
monitor and got the following values (for one day):
\\FFDS24\ASP.NET Applications(_LM_W3SVC_1_Root_ATV2004)\Errors During
Execution: 7
\\FFDS24\ASP.NET Apps v1.1.4322(_LM_W3SVC_1_Root_ATV2004)\Compilations

Hi all
I've got a java microEdition client trying to make soap requests to my .Net
service. i keep getting "Server was unable to process request..." err msg
when attempting to make the request. The method runs fine from a web
browser, so i suspect the problem is with the java app. i added a simple
"Hello World" method to the service for testing purposes and the java client
calls and receives the service fine. the problem appears to be...

i hav a project in visual basic.net which uses asp.net web forms to
access a microsoft access database. i had fierce trouble getting it to
access the database but fixed it by accident. basically i deleted the
database from under 'data connections' in the 'server explorer window'
on the screen and now it works fine. i was getting errors probably
because of connection strings and access privileges to my database but
now its fine. can anyone...

Hi All!
I have a ASP.NET 2.0 site that works on the Windows 2000 Server. However,
when I tried to view this site on my local Windows XP machine, I get "Server
Unavailable". If I switch the Windows XP IIS back to ASP.NET 1.1 then I get
the Configuration Error (which is understandable because I'm trying to run
an ASP.NET 2 site with 1.1 framework).
I can however view other ASP.NET 1.1 sites on my local Windows XP machine.
It's only the...

I have a Javascript program which runs in the browser and has
functions work(), and stop().
It listens to commands from the server to work() and can be
interrupted by the server to stop().
I am using XmlHttpRequest to talk to the server.
So I use http GET to send a command "ready" to the server, which
replies at some point in time by sending "work" which is invoked by
the callback.
As per my understanding, the browser client is single...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
