Hi all:
Its easy for us to use the wdsl.exe to generate a proxy or server side stub
from the .wsdl file.
but when .wdsl file its not just one file, it import another .wdsl file and
schema file, the wsdl.exe cannot generate any outcome.
I read from the article said its the limitation of the wsdl.exe , but anyone
know any way to solve the issue, or is there any replacement tools ?

In our case, we included the imported schemas into the WSDL.

yup...you correct..
actaully, my .wsdl is import the schema file also.
The problem is that the wsdl.exe has some problem to locate the import file
path.
I read from another forum, this guy suggest copy all the wsdl and schema
files in same directory and use wsdl.exe with all the related files as
argument, including the schema files. He declared its working, and i haven't
tried it out yet

Hi there,
I am very new to C# and dot net. I am currently working on a web
service and a client. Now I need to change the default class
construction in the proxy code from
this.Url = "some http url"
to some code of my own, such as reading from a database, etc.
What I am doing is get the proxy code by wsdl and then edit it.

Hello there,
I am unsure as to where to ask for help about this, so I thought I might try
here.
Our website works correctly for 99.9% of customers, however we have one set
of customers who access our website from what appears to be a proxy server
of some kind. i.e. The IP address is always the same no matter where the
location of the computer is.

I am re-sending this in the hope that it might illicit a response. I have a
corporate client who forces their workstations to get the proxy server
details using an automatic proxy discovery script.
Unfortunately, the .NET Framework does not support automatic proxy discovery
scripts. See:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;%5BLN%5D;307220
The article above details that the way to workaround this is to edit the...

I set up a Document-Literal(wrapped) WebService on a Oracle container
(J2EE 1.4/JAX-RPC) and made a basic method which I can invoke from a
browser or Java client.
Java prototype: public org.w3c.dom.Element getIsPrime( org.w3c.dom.Element);
My goal is then to be able to access it from .NET client as well for
true interoperability. I used MS's wsdl tool to generate the C# stub.
The stub works for simple method calls where a string is...

Hi,
I understand that we can install SOAP extensions through web.config at the
server side. How do I install them at the client proxy side?
Thank you,

Hi,
I have a set of simple webservices calls that worked fine using .NET
Framework 1.0.
I am calling a Java/Apache based webservices, the calling side is not able
to supply a proper WSDL.
What it does is to call a webservice with two parameters, one being a
integer, the other one being a "String" which contains XML (not the best
practice, however that is the target interface and we cannot change that).

I have a two tier system.
I've created a COM+ package on the data tier (Win2003) and exported it as a
COM+proxy (v 1.0 compliant) and installed this onto a Win2000 web
application.
I've created a simple VB6 application that I run on the web tier to call a
method on the proxy stub and this successfully runs on the data tier.
However, I've attempted to create an ASP page that does exactly the same

Hi,
I've built a web services proxy server, in C# using wsdl.exe, by
importing wsdl. Howeever,
when I go to : http://localhost/sample.asmx?wsdl, they wsdl there does
not match the wsdl I fed into wsdl.exe.
Why is this? Is there something I can do to make the input and output
wsdl match?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
