Installing WSE 2.0 silently

Is there a way to silently install WSE 2.0?

Hello Ray,
:) you should be able to xcopy the wse2.dll. Unfortunately with the install
the sp1 and sp2 WSE 2.0 also installs policy assemblies which redirect the
version in the web.config file '2.0.0.0' So the choices are to manually change
the version in all your web.config/ app.config files to the appropriate version
or try to install the policy assembly into the gac.

Any luck with this approach. I was curious if you could redis WSE 2.0 runtime
without having an end user go throught the installer. I would only hope ISVs
could package WSE enabled software ammending any MS EULA and do silent
installs.

Let me know what you found out.

i would like to briefly share my experiences with installing mod_python on a w2000 box. i must say that i believe the installation process to be unnecessarily complicated by the simple fact that the installer itself seems to be buggy -- in my case, no combination of mod_python 3.0.4, 3.1.2b and python 2.2.3, 2.3.3 ever came to completion. rather, the installer would exit -- after an initial declaration of having successfully found python...

Hi I've got a function shown below which increments a number and stores it back in a table in Access. This works fine except I would like it to update the number silently and not ask the user "You are about to update 1 row. Once you click yes you cant use the Undo command to reverse the changes". This number should be stored without the user even know about it. Is this at all possible? Function IncrementLastUsedNumber()

I have created an application install project that conditionally installs ..NET Frameworks 2.0 if it doesn't already exist on the target system before the app is installed. What I want to do is silently install both my application and Frameworks 2.0. Does someone know the command line parameters to do this? My installation class creates SETUP.EXE, MyApp.MSI, and a folder DOTNETFX with the three files needed to install Frameworks 2.0.

The stuff I've built recently works (in the sense that it does what I'm expecting it to do without any errors or warnings) in IE and FF but fails silently in Safari. I don't have a Mac to test on. I write some stuff and send it to the client who tests and reports back. I don't do any browser sniffing, I test for a feature for I try to use it... Are there any known oddities about scripting for Safari that might possibly help me out.

Hi, I have an access query. Currently it runs fine except now I would like it to run silently. I set task scheduler to run it as needed. However, I need to have it run silently without having it display the macro warning. I have seen other posts and it seems that you can disable the warning within access. My only issue is this particular computer does not have access installed. Does anyone know how I can run the access query from the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
