Can I build web projects from VS 2005 to target framework 1.1? If yes, is it possible to do this using aspnet_compiler so I can invoke it from msbuild scripts? Thanks.

After the conversion and fixing some errs VS2005 threw, project ran OK. Opened xxx.vbproj file after the conversion to VS2005 from VS2003. Changed (usng wordpad) ../msbuild/2003 to 2005 thinking that should read 2005 Unable to open project after that. Chgd back to 2003. Unable to open. Err unable to read xxx.vbproj(218,16)

So I have compiled a .dll file from a Visual Studio 2005 project containing a few dozen c# files. Now I want to automate this build using ant (have not yet looked at nant, but the rest of my complex build is done with plain ant). Could someone point me to any tutorial or other guide for doing this? I would even settle for just how to do it from a command-line.

Hi, I've just converted all of my managed and unmanaged c++ to .NET 2.0. Now I'm trying to add these solutions to the MsBuild script and for some reason it seems as though the post build events are happening. I had these solutions formaly being built under nant, and they built fine, although that was .NET 1.1. But nant doesn't support .NET 2.0 in their current release. They do in their nightly build, beta release but the post build...

Hi, I'm facing a problem while building a project through MSBuild, this project is a part of a solution which has several other projects on which it depends, but I want to build this project without building it's dependencies. We can do this for a solution by unselecting projects through Configuration Manager under solution properties, but how to achive same for a project!

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
