How can the toolbar and menubar be hidden in IE?
When opening the window via javascript I can specify
'toolbar=no,menubar=no', which works fine.
However if the window already exists how can I remove them? If the browser
is Netscape I can use javascript:
window.toolbar.visible = false;
window.menubar.visible = false;
but IE produces the error:
"'window.toolbar.visible' is null or not an object".

We are using Visual Studio 2003.NET (C++) for the development
of our software in the fields digital signal processing and
numerical acoustics.
One of our programs was working correctly if we are using the
Debug-Version of the program, but it fails (or leads to false
results) if we are using the Release-Version. After a long
debugging session we found out, that our program was working
correctly, but the floating point processing...

Is there any case you can imagine that A97 would NOT display the
Unhide option under the Window menu after running this line...
Me.Visible = False
Yes, its happening to me. The Unhide choice is grayed out after
running this line on a form that was opened with the acDialog parm.
Guys, this wierd stuff I'm encountering, could some hardware issue
be responsible or would a viral element be more likely at fault?

Hi,
I build an add-in for Visual Studio 2005.
I use the wizzard, I fixed the bug with envdte reference and build my
project immediately after the wizzard.
All seems to work, the add-in is shown in add-in Manager window, but no
button appears in Tools window.
Here is my code:
namespace MyAddinTest

I came across a rather interesting article this morning and thought I'd
share. We all know that Visual Studio is a great IDE, but I think we can
all agree that it is adds a dramatic change to how we write code.
I'm not posting to talk trash or start a flamewar, just wanting feedback
in regards to the following article. I happen to use Visual Studio on a
daily basis and am not a John Rivers alter-ego.

Hello,
the Menubar of my Visual Studio .Net installation is hidden. I only see the
toolbars. In the customize dialog all toolbars are selectable. Only the
menubar entry could not be selected (i hear a "ping" when i want select the
entry).
So i tried to edit the Registry (key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\7.1\General). Here you can
Switch on/off the statusbar.
How could I switch on the Menubar?

My application seems to be ignoring Enable XP visual styles, which is
ticked on in the application properties.
the Toolbar and Menubar, which appear the nice looking shaded blue
appear like that whilst in the IDE, but when I run the app, they both
go to boring grey.
In the application.designer.vb self generated file, it does have
PublicSubNew()

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
