dynamic word headers

Hello everyone. I am creating a word doc through my .net application. Everything is working like a charm except I need to know how to access the header in the document. It is dynamic so I don't believe I can use a template. A really brief example would be great. Or if you can point me to an article I would appreciate it, I just haven't been able to find any that mention the header

Thank you

Sara

I use database to store images. So img-tags are like <img src="viewer.php?img_id=100"> Can I use javascript/php-combination to preload images of whole site after first page is loaded? Or does all the images get loaded again automatically if they have dynamic urls? If so, can that behaviour be changed? This is the typical jscript i guess: //-------------------------

Hi there! First off, let me apologize for the basic question... I'm very new to .NET programming. I'm building a web site using VB.NET, and am trying to include several custom user controls. One of these user controls handles the navigation. This user control polls the database for the section headers that the current user has access to. It grabs those headers from the database, let's say 5 of them, then

I am generating reports that require headers so I am setting up the headers per http://msdn2.microsoft.com/library/ms178795.aspx. I generate a string that contains my header data: String strTest = “This is my Header”; I then use the procedure shown in http://msdn2.microsoft.com/library/ms178795.aspx to apply the header to the document

Hi, I'm playing with dynamic script insertion to make a request to the server for a JavaScript file to be automatically run when it arrives in the browser. It works but... The page caching is too good. When I revisit the page or refresh the page, and then redo the script insertion, the browser doesn't even hit the server to check for a newer version of the JavaScript file. The same old script runs with each insertion.

Hi everyone, I'm using PHP and a DB to control access to files that have been uploaded by users. I am using the following PHP code snippet to deliver the file after the access rights have been checked. $theFile = file_get_contents(UPLOAD_PATH.$storedName); if($mimeExtension == '') { header("Content-Type: application/octet-stream\n");

I am looking for a way to create dynamic headers and footers in a web form. There are .Net PDF products that convert web form content into PDF format and insert dynamic headers/footers. I'm just wondering if there is a similar way of accomplishing this in a web form by inserting a CSS page break. Is there a way to roughly limit each printed page to 7.0 ~ 7.5 inches of content?

Hi. This is just a disaster management question. I am using XMLHTTP for the dynamic loading of content in a very crucial area of my web site. Same as an IFrame, but using XMLHTTP and a DIV. I got the core of the javascript from here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxcontent.htm I noticed in the demo that sometimes the content takes a long

Actually I have encountered several problems working with Word. Please see if you can help me resolve them. My application creates documents (Microsoft.Interop.Word.Document) each one according to another template(.dot on the hard disc). Then I have to merge them and save as a single .doc (while the original formatting is saved). I do this in the following way: Range rangeTrg = ((Document)(m_WordDocsArr)).Content; object brk =...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
