Passing data from one form to another - Really at a loss!

I am a relative newbie and can't seem to figure out how to get past this
stumbling block.

I am creating an unknown number of dynamic rows (min=0, max=10) in a
table whoose cells are populated with SQL Server data. What is being
displayed is basic information relating to Work Tickets. The final cell
in each row gives the option(s) to view or update the particular record.

What I wish to have happen is to pass the ticket number (the value in
cell 1) and whether "view" or "update" was clicked to another web form.

I am just really confused as to what control to use in these dynamic
rows and how to pass the necessary values to the new form.

Hopefully I have explained what I need in enough detail. I will be
eternally greatful for any assistance I can get. Thanks in advance for
your help.

Hello, I don't know where to begin with this as it's kind of a strange error and I can't figure it out. I've got a form that I pass several variables to a php page. One of the variables is a file that is getting uploaded. The INPUT is type "file" and the form enctype is set to "multipart/form-data"

Hello there, I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to the image. I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database, but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a variable which is then used in a SQL update...

I am trying to write a Perlscript to be used with some HTML pages. Here is how it works: 1.. The first HTML page has a form which requests for user input. Then it passes the QUERY_STRING to a Perl script. 2.. The Perl script will then validate the data. If input validation fails, it returns to the previous screen and asks the user to retry. If the validation passes, it display the user input and asks for confirmation.

I'm a rookie at C# and OO so please don't laugh! I have a form (fclsTaxCalculator) that contains a text box (tboxZipCode) containing a zip code. The user can enter a zip code in the text box and click a button to determine whether the zip code is unique. If the zip code is not unique, another form/dialog is displayed (fclsLookup) - lookup form/dialog. The zip code is passed to the lookup form/dialog by reference. I then load a...

Hi, I'm hoping that this can be done. I have a form, and upon clicking the submit button it calls another PHP script to save the data in a MySQL database. Of course since it is a FORM, all the variables are available to the save script. Once the data has been saved, I change the location and go to a summary page so the customer can see the verification and such.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
