Hi,
I have generated this XML from my application. But, when I open this
XML, it is throwing error. Please help me to resolve this.

Is it possible to modify the file properties of a file
programmatically? For example, every file, when you right
click has a properties option, then from that you can
select the summary tab and from that set the Title, Author
and Subject. I use c# and VB but can't find a way how to
set these programmatically. Any one have any idea how to
do this? Thanks - Keith.

I can't figure out how to set those properties (with C#
programmatically) found on the Summary tab if you select
the properties by right clicking on the file in Windows
Explorer (that is for NTSF systems of Win 2000 and XP).
So bascially I am writing a file to the harddrive and I
want to store information about that file in the Summary
tab of the properties for that file.
I have explored most of what I can think of to no avail.

implement. I have found information about the file name itself and the

Hi All,
I'm trying to programatically (using c#) read the file properties (Title, Summary, Author, Comments etc.... The stuff that shows up on the Summary tab when you see the properties of a file).
FileInfo and FileSystemInfo classes expose only the standard properties (create time, mod time etc..).
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

if you right click on a .jpg file -> properties -> summary tab,
you can set some of the attributes of that file (title, subject,
author, comments, etc.).
how do you access this information from a .jpg file and modify it,
using a VB.NET application? What I'd like to do:
1. have user browse for path of a particular .jpg file (i know how to
do this)
2. extract the current "subject" attribute information (don't know)

I have a rather complex need.
I have a class that parses web pages and extracts all relevant file
addresses. It allows me to download every pdf on a web page, for
instance. I would like to incorporate threads so that I can download N
files separately.
The obvious solution is a thread pool. However, I need to make sure
that I download the files Async - so I can get percentage and status
information to my interface.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
