I'm not believing in results of many tests I did, but they justify this Post
title.
How may I setup my WebServices or ASPNET Processo to process more than one
call per time???
Look:
<processModel enable="true" timeout="Infini te" idleTimeout="In finite"
shutdownTimeout ="0:00:05" requestLimit="I nfinite" requestQueueLim it="5000"
restartQueueLim it="10" memoryLimit="60 " webGarden="fals e"
cpuMask="0xffff ffff" userName="machi ne" password="AutoG enerate"
logLevel="Error s" clientConnected Check="0:00:05"
comAuthenticati onLevel="Connec t" comImpersonatio nLevel="Imperso nate"
responseDeadloc kInterval="00:0 3:00" maxWorkerThread s="20"
maxIoThreads="2 0"/>
I already setuped the processModel for a lot of threads and for a lot of
workers, like IO, but I can't see changes...
I wondered it was something with Windows XP Professional IIS, but we tried
the same tests in Windows 2k Advanced Server and Windows 2003.
.... And nothing!
I don't believe it's some restriction of SOAP calls or something around it! 1 1372
By default ASP.NET does process multiple requests concurrently.
Are you using the ASP.NET session state in the web service by any chance? If
so, then ASP.NET will serialize (i.e., process one by one) calls from one
client.
If this is not the reason, then you'll have to post more details about what
you are doing.

I recently upgraded my server to Windows 2003. The first thing I noticed is
that my sample WebService pages no longer worked. The Invoke test button is
missing. This is addresed by the following KB article:

Hi,
We have a couple of clients who are having trouble connecting to .Net
webservices, (they're coming from PHP and VFP). We were looking to provide
a diagonostic tool that displayed the soap message submitted so that if the
call failed they could compare their SoapMessage with the ones we generate
in .Net.
Thought the solution was an HttpModule hooked into begin request, but after
approx 10 requests it hangs the webservice/aspnet...

Hello,
I'm experiencing a problem that I'm hoping someone might be able to shed
some light on.
I have an ASP.NET page on a Windows 2000 machine that makes web service
calls to a .NET web service. Once in a while the ASP.NET process gets to a
state where the web service call to the web service hangs and then does a
timeout. While the ASP.NET process is in this state, looking at the TCP
connections, the TCP connection never shows up for...

Our customers have different names SLA’s / Service Level Agreements but use
the same webservice. How do I handle that some users can be allowed to wait
when the load is high while others can’t? One possible scenario could be to
redirect VIPs to a more powerful webfarm than the one the common user uses.
But is it a good solution and, in case it is, can I implement it using some
of the standard features in .net (or perhaps .net v2)?

Hi,

I have copied same VS 2005 WSE3.0 Webservices to IIS 5.5 and changed

I have a web service that I use to kick off a long-running job that dumps a
lot of data to an XML file (takes about 5 minutes). I need to have ASP.NET
produce the XML file as the web site has the code I need (and extracting it
into a stand-alone EXE would be a LOT of work). The webservice client is a
vb.net app with a vs-generated webservice.
Currently, the webservice seems to timeout after about 120 seconds.
I have been struggling...

I have inherited a Business Object architecture that makes heavy use
of the Singleton design patter. For example the data access layer
class is implemented as a static Singleton "object", there are also
other business objects logic and security supporting classes that are
all implemented using the Singleton patter. I 'm attempting to make
use of this class library in a webservice application. The problem is
that some of the Singleton...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
