Hi there,
First off, let me say that I know that launching to full screen is a
bad idea. I would never do it given the choice, but I must follow
orders from my boss, the boss that desparately wants a desktop
application made out of Internet technologies.
We're writing an application that has JavaScript enabled as a client
machine requirement. We need to support Windows with IE 5+ and
Netscape 7+ plus Mac with IE 5+ and Netscape 6.2+.

Linking to a Targeted Browser Window
I'd like to open reference links to other web sites in a
separate browser window from the browser window hosting my
own web site pages. The Link Target reserve word "_blank"
opens a blank new browser window for every link, which can
sometimes result in a lot of open browser windows.
Is there no way to "reuse" a previously linked browser
window and have it load the new web page in Foreground

Hi all,
I have an <asp:button> inside an <asp:table> and I am finding that the
button click event doesn't fire at all! I have added the button to the
initialize component event, and the table.
The event fires when I change the access modifier to Protected, from
Private, but then it fires only every so often, and there is no pattern.
Can anybody tell me what is happening, why and what I need to do?

Hi,
I need a web browser capable of handling video streams and that will
stay in front of the Z order. There are a number of video streaming
sources I watch that launch a browser window containing the video
from another browser page. I am almost always working on something
else while following the video. Consequently the video disappears behind
the application window I'm using. I've tried staggering my windows to
avoid this but even...

I wish to have a link on a page that launches a new browser before it
loads the target link. The standard _new and _blank include the parent
browser's cookies. Is there an alternative method that excludes these
cookies?
Thanks in advance

Hi all,
I am thinking about doing this since I got several cases that some of our
internal users open more than one browser at the same time from our server.
When one of the transactions was not completed finished, the second browser
jusk pick up some session variables from the first browser and process right
after that. It messed up everything.
I was thinking about use remote_addr, but it seems not working since we are
behind the...

Hi All:
Here's what may be a confusing question. I have an application which
has a basic help window that is attached to a Windows application. It
uses IE objects to render html text. The user isn't aware that the
basic help window is an IE window since it has no controls on it.
Within that window, however, are links to "advanced help" pages which
I want to open in a new (full-size) window in the DEFAULT system
browser. The problem is...

when I start debugging in VS2008. At the moment Firefox gets launched even

isnt working although I can debug in firebug I want to do it all from the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
