Linking to a Targeted Browser Window
I'd like to open reference links to other web sites in a
separate browser window from the browser window hosting my
own web site pages. The Link Target reserve word "_blank"
opens a blank new browser window for every link, which can
sometimes result in a lot of open browser windows.
Is there no way to "reuse" a previously linked browser
window and have it load the new web page in Foreground

Hi, I'm sending out a session cookie. That is a cookie that has no
expiration date. When I surf through the site, no problems, but if I close
the browser and open it back up, the cookie is still there if other browser
windows were open. Even if those windows didn't go to the site with the
cookie or spawn from the browser that is visiting the site. This is causing
a problem. People want to be able to close the browser to logout.
How...

I wish to have a link on a page that launches a new browser before it
loads the target link. The standard _new and _blank include the parent
browser's cookies. Is there an alternative method that excludes these
cookies?
Thanks in advance

Hi All:
Here's what may be a confusing question. I have an application which
has a basic help window that is attached to a Windows application. It
uses IE objects to render html text. The user isn't aware that the
basic help window is an IE window since it has no controls on it.
Within that window, however, are links to "advanced help" pages which
I want to open in a new (full-size) window in the DEFAULT system
browser. The problem is...

I am new to web development.
I published a VS 2008 web page (default.aspx) file (along with its .cs
file), using the "Publish Web Site" feature, to a Windows 2003 server
that has all the .Net Framework versions including 3.5. The web page
does not have any code in the page_load event (in the .cs file)
The default.html version of the same aspx file works fine, but not
default.aspx itself, which produces a "%1 is not a valid Win32...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
