VC++ error

I am using VC++6.0 with Visual Fortran 6.6.B. A few weeks ago, I rebuilt my
PC and reinstalled the same VC++ and VF.

The same codes of the VC++ part built before the reinstallation used to
work. The executable bulit before reinstallation is still working perfectly
now. However, after reinstallation, the executable built now is not working
any more. One of the odd thing is this:
In a dialog, there are these items: text edit box (intentionally greyed
out), one "date picker" and one "time picker" plus another text edit box.
When the dialog is called up, the first text edit box displays the date and
time, the second text edit box is empty. When typing any characters in the
second text edit box, the "date picker" changes to "12/30/1899", the "time
picker" is okay.

Can anyone tell what the problem is?

Curiosity made me to install VC - 7 (.net) in my machine which had VC - 6 already installed. I tried to compile my workspace in VC - 7 but failed due to several compile time errors. ok no problems. So I tried to revert back and uninstalled VC - 7 and compiled my workspace in VC - 6. It gave a linker error that "mfc71d.lib" is not found.

I'm trying to upgrade a large project from VS 6.0 to VS 2005. After fixing a lot of things that changed (mostly sloppy coding in the original project that VS2005 didn't allow), I got the release version to build successfully. Unfortunately, it crashes right away when I start it. So now I need to build the debug version. Unfortunately, the...

A project depends on VC runtime from Visual Studio 2005 SP1, and DotNet Framework 2.
